Buttercup's mom, Marmalade, snuck into our compound and delivered her three kittens: Peanut, Buttercup, and Cinnamon. A resident fostered Mama and her three kittens until Peanut and Cinnamon found their forever homes. Buttercup is very shy at first, often hiding when new people enter the home, which has caused adopters to overlook her. If you adopt Butter, you will see that once she warms up, she is very loving and cuddly. She loves belly rubs, cuddling at bedtime and being brushed. Butter enjoys chasing laser lights and playing with her favorite butterfly toy. She was raised with other cats and is sociable so she can share a home with other cats (with gradual introduction due to her shyness).
