This sweet little tortie girl had a rough start in life. She was abandoned and found herself all alone, without the chance to learn some of the important social skills that kittens normally pick up along the way. But once she arrived in foster care, everything started to change!

With the help of her foster friends, she has been learning how to play, interact, and just be a kitten—and she is absolutely thriving! She has come such a long way and is doing wonderfully with the other kittens in her foster home. She may still prefer to do her own thing and can be a bit of a loner, but she is discovering that having feline friends can be pretty fun.

When it comes to her humans, this girl knows exactly what she wants: SNUGGLES! She loves climbing into your lap, settling in close, and purring away like she has found her happy place. And, naturally, she has a little tortitude when it comes to food—she can be quite particular about what makes it onto her menu!

She may have started out all alone, but this beautiful girl has blossomed into a happy, loving kitten. She just needs a family willing to let her continue growing at her own pace while she shows them what a special little tortie she really is.

Kitten Adoption Requirement: Like all kittens under 6 months of age, Calypso must be adopted with a sibling or friend, or into a home that already has another young cat (under 1.5 years old). Having a feline companion is essential for her continued social and behavioral development—and it's a lot more fun, too!
