Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

Sweet Idris is hiding a big personality under his shy exterior, and he can’t wait to show it to you! Idris is a gentle little dude whose most favorite thing is to be cuddled up in someone’s lap and head-butting them once you can catch him, that is. Idris is still learning how to be a house cat and therefore still has some trust issues with people, but with a little more love and attention, he will blossom into the world’s sweetest kitten. He will sit in his foster mom’s lap for hours, once he’s built up the confidence to get there, and purrs through entire movies just because he’s happy to be included. He is on the calmer side for a kitten, but goes absolutely ballistic for a string toy and has been loving playing with the other cat in his foster home. As if he weren’t already enough of a lover boy, he’s also been seen on occasion touching noses with the dog! Idris would be perfect in a calmer home due to his shyness, probably no kids or frat parties for this little dude, but if you are looking for a companion who’s always going to be around for the perfect cuddle when you need it or a cat who will keep you grounded on a couch while you cry at a really good movie, Idris would love to be your valentine.Complete the online adoption application to be the first to schedule a meet and greet with Idris or visit him at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, from 12-4pm on Saturday during our adoption event. All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative.
