Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

This boy loves people and likes to give hugs by putting his front paws on your shoulders and squishing his face into yours. He is extremely affectionate and very silly. He loves to play too. In his foster home he did well with the resident dog. He would probably be okay with a calm dog in the home. He does nip when he doesn't like being contained. That seems to settle down once he has his freedom but pickup when he wants to play and he may tell you no with a nip. He needs to learn from his people with a firm "NO" when that happens so he doesn't continue thinking that is okay. His foster mom said this most recently: I think Brooks will be a great cat but don’t recommend him in a hone with small children. He has the free roam of the house and is so sweet. Gets along with the resident cat, my dog and enjoys venturing around the house. He does have a drive to try and go through doorways so I’m super careful about opening the front door. I think he wouldn’t hesitate to go outside. He was outside when he was found. He has been great inside but will likely remain a door dasher so caution is necessary. All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventatives.
