Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

Meet Foghorn! What a name, right? Foghorn is estimated to be about four years old and is a gorgeous larger brown tabby cat with white socks. Our volunteers describe Foghorn as chill and maybe a little playful. He likes to be brushed, he loves the spring toys we have, and is just an overall friendly kitty.

Foghorn is an FIV+ cat, which means he has tested positive for feline immunodeficiency virus. This is a rather common affliction with our shelter kitties, we get a few positive results every month. FIV+ cats will live long, normal lives as long as they are kept happy and healthy (as we ask for all of our adoptables). They can live with FIV- cats without passing along the virus. It sounds scarier than it is, please consider giving an FIV+ cat a chance!
