Meet Twinkle Twinkle! This cute little man came to us as an orphaned kitten.

Twinkle is a bit of a wild child; he has a lot of energy and can be heard scooching around the house at top speed, trilling to himself, his feline friends, and his toys. For his favorite toys (plastic springs) he’ll sprint full speed around the house until he catches one, then he carries it around proudly!

Twinkle loves other cats but he doesn’t quite understand when they don’t want to wrestle with him. Understandably since it’s Twinkle’s world and we’re just living in it, but for this reason he’s not suited for homes with cats that have matured past their wild kitten phase (because quite frankly, he will drive them nuts).

Once he's tired himself out, he is a very sweet boy. He sleeps in bed with his foster family every night and loves to snuggle up close. He has a purr that can be heard from a mile away. He loves to pig pile with all of his kitty foster siblings.

Twinkle was born with a congenital deformity of both hind legs. It doesn’t greatly impact his daily life as he’s still able to run, climb, and play, but he will likely require additional medical care as he ages. He will be prone to arthritis and other orthopedic injuries.
He is not suited for a home with those with significant mobility challenges or young children as he can be pretty underfoot and his legs are fragile - an accidental step, pinch, or drop would have much greater consequences for him than a typical kitten. He would also not be suited for a home with large or rambunctious dogs for the same reason.

Twinkle Twinkle’s ideal home would be one that is able to make the slight accommodations necessary for his disability (pet stairs up onto the bed, raised food dishes, large/low litter box, etc.) but also have a kitten playmate who is ready to match his party time energy.
Our favorite thing about Twinkle is his sweet meow and his love of other cats.
