DESCRIPTION
Hi there, my name is Chiktu, which means sticky or affectionate - and that is me! I love being with my people and want to be where the action is. I am a chatty girl, and I will come when I am called - because maybe there is a treat for me or a lap that I can sit in. I am about 5 years old. I have been known to be a bit timid when we get company, but I can eventually get coaxed to come out and engage with the visitors. We have a cat friend, and I would really like to play - but she is more inclined to groom me, but I need some play time. I definitely would need to have a playmate. I don't have any dog experience, but maybe a smaller dog might be good - as long as they are nice! As with all animal introductions, slow is always best. I have gotten into trouble eating things that I am not supposed to have - shoelaces or draw strings are my most common thing - that is really not a good thing - and I get into trouble with that. It might have something to do with being bored. I do like to play, so maybe those interactive toys might be good for me too. I have had some outdoor time, but I can easily adjust to an indoor life. Maybe a perch by the window so I can watch the birds and squirrels.
