Affectionate, Confident, Calm
Alienmama is no stranger to hugs! In fact, her way to give you a kitty hug is to give you gentle, affectionate head-butts. She adores ear scritches, and will purr her quiet and happy purr for you. She is a super affectionate girl!
She came to APA! with her FIVE super cute newborn kittens, which would be a challenge for any new kitty mom; but Alienmama has weak back legs that makes getting around a little difficult, and she still has done a brilliant job with her babies. Maybe her name should be Aliensupermama?
Between raising her kittens and her weak back legs, Alienmama hasn't played much. Once her kittens are in their new homes and she has been treated for her physical ailment, she might get her playful on! But she would be thrilled, ecstatic, and over-the-moon to simply be with her human, sharing affection.
Alienmama has decreased range of motion in her hips and weak back legs, so this gives her balance issues. She doesn't jump up onto tables or countertops, and would be best in a home without little kids or excited animals who might cause her to fall. That said, she might like a gentle kitty companion, and would be fine in a home with adults, young adults, and older kids who are easy with her and understand that her balance is unsteady, so she should be treated patiently and kindly. She is on meds to help with any discomfort.
Alienmama is a sweet, loving, special-needs kitty who deserves a wonderful, loving home. She is a very calm, affectionate, and beautiful black and white tuxedo girl. Contact us today to learn more and to arrange a meet & greet!
