He would thrive in a quiet, peaceful home and would make an especially good companion for a senior adopter or someone looking for a calm, gentle cat. Homes with other friendly cats are encouraged, as he seems to find comfort in their presence. Because he is sensitive and easily overwhelmed, we do not recommend a home with small children. Remington will need an adopter who understands that trust cannot be rushed. He may take time to come out of his shell, but for someone willing to move at his pace, he has the potential to become a deeply rewarding companion.
