Meet Adeline! <3
Found as an abandoned kitten, friendly, quiet Adeline was born in Aug. 2025. She has met and tolerates the foster’s active dog and gets along with most cats. She is out-going and affectionate. When you arrive home Adeline meets you at the door. Often she reaches up requesting to be held and sometimes held like a baby. Adeline will rub against your face and rub against your legs. She will jump into your lap when you sit down or will let you place her in your lap, staying for short sessions of brushing and petting. Then Adeline is off to play by herself with cat toys, plus she likes wand toys.

She is friendly with strangers and should be fine with gentle, respectful children. If she knows and trusts you she quick starts up her medium sounding purring. Periodically Adeline rolls over for tummy stroking. She has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Siblings are available.

This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored).
