DESCRIPTION

Hi! My name is Charcoal and I'm a black and white tabby boy born on 2/26/24. With my beautiful markings and my big fluffy tail, you'll notice from the first glance that I'm quite something to look at! But look a little more closely, and you'll see that I'm not just another pretty face. Nope, I'm definitely unique! I have a few scars on my nose and on my ears, and I'm a little bit cross-eyed, too. My foster parents don't know much about my history, but it's clear that I've been through the school of hard knocks and graduated with honors!

But although my outside might suggest I'm rough and tough, the truth is that on the inside I'm as sweet as can be. I'm one of the most even-tempered cats my foster parents have ever met -- I seem completely comfortable in my own skin and I don't ever feel the need to prove anything to anyone. I'm always friendly and calm, and I'm always happy to get to know everyone, human and cat. Oh, and I love to snuggle, especially if you pet me on my head and chin!

And best of all -- since I'm a little older than some of the other kitties looking for their forever homes, I'm already past all the hard parts of growing up. If you take me home, you'll not only have an instant best friend, but you'll have a companion who already knows the ropes. You won't catch ME unraveling your toilet paper roll, or scratching up your rug just for fun, or doing any of the other cute -- annoying -- behaviors that little kittens are known for. And while I like to play as much as the next cat, I won't expect you to play with me ALL THE TIME like a younger kitty might. In other words, with me you get all the benefits of a sweet, adorable partner, without any of those troublesome, immature behaviors.

I'm really good with other cats. My foster parents don't know if I've ever been around children or dogs, but I'm always gentle, so I would likely be just fine with anyone, given proper introductions. I have tidy litter box and eating habits.

It's been a hard knock life for me, but I'm sure my luck is about to change -- won't you come and meet me and see if we can have a happy ever after together?
