Meet Rufus — a bold and handsome brown tiger tabby with dramatic dark stripes and piercing green eyes that give him an undeniably striking presence. This gorgeous 2-year-old boy arrived at the shelter on April 4th and has been waiting in Kennel #691 ever since for someone to see just how special he truly is.

At just 2 years old, Rufus is right in the prime of his life — fully grown and settled into the handsome, magnificent cat he was always meant to be, yet with so many beautiful years still ahead of him just waiting to be spent in a warm and loving home. He is FIV/FeLV negative and up to date on all of his vaccines, and he will be neutered prior to adoption — healthy and completely ready for his fresh start the moment the right person comes along.

Bold striped cats like Rufus have a wild, striking beauty that is truly one of a kind, and yet here he sits in a shelter kennel waiting for someone to choose him. He deserves sunny windowsills, a warm lap, and a person who will look at those magnificent markings every single day and feel like the luckiest person alive.

If you have been looking for a young, healthy, and strikingly beautiful companion to share your life with, come meet Rufus in Kennel #691. He is ready for his person — and all he needs is for that person to come find him.
