BIG HEART, BIG PAWS, BIG LOVE — MEET BRODY!

Meow! I’m Brody, a charming and easygoing gentleman with an estimated birthday of January 1, 2019. With my soulful eyes, soft purrs, and extra-plush frame (I tip the scales at a lovable 15 pounds!), I’m a mellow lovebug just waiting to melt into your lap and your heart.

I’m the definition of laid-back. Whether I’m lounging in a sunny window or stretching out for a long afternoon nap, I bring a calm, comforting presence to any space I’m in. I’m a social guy who genuinely enjoys meeting new people—especially when belly rubs or chin scratches are involved. I’ll happily flop over to show you my tummy and soak in the attention like the prince I am.

I’m still discovering the world of toys (a gentleman my age learns at his own pace), but I’ve already developed a soft spot for feather wands and string toys—they bring out a playful sparkle in me! I’m also wonderfully food-motivated, which makes bonding and training a breeze. My favorite indulgences? Temptation treats and Churus. Offer me either, and we’re instantly best friends.

Due to my larger size, I appreciate a roomy litter box with high sides—it just makes things more comfortable for a big boy like me. I’m friendly with other cats and coexist peacefully with small dogs. I tend to be a bit shy around larger pups and will typically give them a wide berth. I’d do best in a calm home with older, respectful children who understand the value of a slow, gentle approach and a warm cuddle.

Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted.

Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet.

Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.

No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
