Domestic Short Hair and Manx Cats Available for Adoption

Meet Stubbie!

Stubbie is around 8 years old and is a neutered male! We do believe he is a Domestic Short Hair mixed with some Manx, but please keep in mind that we are not for certain on this!

Stubbie was surrendered to HSHP only because his previous owner wants him to find a home where he can be kept indoors! They also were moving to a new place that doesn't allow cats inside.
Stubbie does like to venture around outside, but as he is getting older, it would be best that he think about retiring that life. While he does get along with some cats, he does find himself in squabbles with outside toms that are coming around.

He is litterbox trained and has lived indoors for a good chunk of his life. We are not sure how Stubbie would do with other indoor cats, dogs, or children as he has never lived inside with them. He does appear to have a very adaptable personality and is already so friendly on his first day at the loud shelter!

We are still getting to know Stubbie for ourselves, but we can confidently say that he is a very sweet boy! His previous owner found him with his tail already stubbed and she does believe that he was born that way! However, we are not 100% positive on this.

Stubbie is current on his rabies vaccine and has been given his other core vaccines! He is now ready to find a home that can provide him with a life indoors that he won't want to leave!
