Julie and Sam may not be biological siblings, but they are absolutely siblings at heart. These two were rescued from a cat colony where their future was uncertain, but thankfully they made their way into a loving foster home where they’ve grown into healthy, happy kittens. Now they’re ready to find a forever home — together.

Julie, about 3 months old, is a beautiful fluffy gray girl with a true survivor’s spirit. She came into foster care as a tiny, fragile kitten fighting for her life while her littermates sadly didn’t make it. But Julie is a fighter through and through! She keeps up just fine with her bigger foster brother Sam — even when he plays rough. She may let out a dramatic little squeal now and then (for effect, of course!), but she can definitely hold her own. Julie is also a very affectionate girl who loves to snuggle with her humans.

Sam, around 4½ months old, is a handsome boy with lovely Siamese coloring. He’s a bit more reserved than Julie and is still learning that humans can be trusted. When he was first rescued, he needed medication to get well, and understandably he’s been a little suspicious ever since — after all, you never know when someone might try to sneak you that awful medicine again! With patience and a gentle approach, Sam relaxes, enjoys pets, and rewards his people with the sweetest purrs. He’ll thrive with a family willing to give him a little time to fully blossom.

Together, Julie and Sam are playful, social kittens who get along well with the other cats in their foster home. They have also been fostered with dogs and are comfortable around calm, cat-friendly pups. They should do well with older, respectful children who understand when to give them space.

These two have already overcome so much — now they’re ready for the loving forever home they deserve, where they can continue to grow, play, and snuggle side by side. Could your home be the perfect landing spot for Julie & Sam?

The adoption fee for two cats is $230.

Julie and Sam are spayed / neutered and vaccinated. They are litter box trained.

We recommend adopting two kittens if you have no other pets (or even if you do), because you will get twice the love with less work and they will develop fewer behavioral issues, while costs remain relatively similar.

We are located in the Columbia Gorge area in OR/WA (this is where the kittens are fostered), but we are able to transport to those locations where we advertise (i.e. Seattle and Portland area). There isn't an additional fee for transport, but any additional donation to help support what our little group does is appreciated.

When responding to this ad, please provide a phone number where you can be reached. Having an alternate means to contact people is helpful, since our email can end up in SPAM. Please also provide some information on your home. For example: Do you have small children? How many? Is your home life quiet or busy? Do you live in a rural or urban area? Do you have any other pets? What else should we know?

All of the kittens at Pawsitivity are fostered in homes where they are cared for and socialized. We don't keep kittens in cages (except maybe at bedtime). Our foster parents are able to learn each of their personalities this way and determine the best home for them. We also make sure all kittens are healthy before placing them in their forever home.
