Marshmallow is a one-year-old petite girl, just about 7 pounds, with a look that feels almost dreamlike. Her coat is snow white and silky, touched with just a hint of tabby coloring — but what truly sets her apart is her extraordinary fluffy tail, full and flowing like a plume. It gives her an almost glamorous finish, completing her elegant, composed presence. She is the kind of cat people imagine when they think of beauty — and then they meet her, and realize she is even more.

She was found on the streets, quietly trying to survive among other stray cats — most likely abandoned. And yet, instead of becoming guarded, she became even more drawn to people. She is simply too trusting, too affectionate, too full of love to live without human connection. She doesn’t just enjoy affection — she seeks it, gently and wholeheartedly.

She has a playful side. Like a kitten who once knew love, she still carries that joyful curiosity. She loves chasing a teaser, fully immersed in the moment, as if nothing else in the world matters except that shared little game between her and her human.

Yet she also has a calm side. Her favorite place is a hammock, where she can quietly rest, observe, and wait. Although our cats are all located in Puerto Rico, they can fly to mainland US. We can usually find flight angels to bring the cat to you once you are approved for adoption. We don't charge for arranging the trip, the air ticket is $125 on top of $50 adoption fee ($175 total).
