Domestic Medium Hair Cats Available for Adoption

Taurus is a handsome orange gentleman who came to us after his owner moved and family members were unable to keep him. At 7- 8 years old, the transition to shelter life was a big adjustment, and he was understandably a bit cranky and standoffish at first. Taurus also needs some dental work, which we will be taking care of, and that discomfort may have contributed to his grumpiness. Now that he has had some time to decompress, Taurus is starting to show us his friendly, mellow nature. He enjoys slow, gentle pets and can usually be found snuggled in a cubby for some relaxation or a peaceful cat nap.

Taurus is independent yet affectionate in his own way. He is the purrfect low-maintenance companion who enjoys doing his own thing but is also content to share quiet, peaceful moments with you. Taurus will thrive in a calm, low-traffic home with cat-savvy adopters. He is happiest as the only cat and in a home without children. Aside from his upcoming dental work, Taurus is healthy and uses his litter box well. Taurus’s sparkle will really shine in a calm, stable, and loving furrever home, with someone who appreciates his independent, mellow charm.
