Meet Poppy!

Poppy came into foster care as a teeny-tiny kitten with enormous eyes, oversized ears, and a whole lot of determination packed into one very small body. She had a difficult start to life and faced more challenges than any little kitten should, but Poppy proved from the beginning that she is one strong little girl. She overcame every obstacle in her path, grew into those big eyes and ears, and is now an absolutely thriving, happy kitten ready for her forever home.

Poppy is confident, curious, social, sweet, feisty, and just the right amount of goofy. She loves being involved in whatever her humans are doing and isn't shy about making herself part of the action. She's easy to pick up and carry around, loves being held, and will happily follow you around, headbutt you for affection, and turn on her purr motor.

When she's awake, Poppy is a busy little girl! She loves zoomies, climbing, wrestling, and chasing toy mice. Once she's worn herself out, though, her cuddly side takes over. She loves curling up with her people and sleeping with you, and she can make just about anywhere into a perfectly acceptable nap spot. Squeeze-up treats are also a very effective way to this girl's heart.

Poppy absolutely adores other cats, but her very favorite cat in the world is her foster sister, Pepper. The two girls are incredibly bonded. They've grown up together, played together, cuddled together, and faced some very big challenges side by side. Through it all, they've had each other, and they've come out the other side as two happy, thriving little kittens who genuinely adore one another.

Poppy may have started life as one very tiny kitten against some very big odds, but you'd never know it from the confident, affectionate, playful little girl she is today. She's ready for the next chapter of her story: a forever family to love, follow around, snuggle with, entertain with her antics, and shower with headbutts and purrs.
