Meet Kenzie, a beautiful medium-haired black cat with the softest fur and the sweetest soul.

Kenzie's story started as a stray, arriving at the impound covered in fleas with some mats in her coat. Despite her rough start, she has remained incredibly gentle, loving, and trusting. She has a quiet, dainty meow and a calm presence that makes her a joy to be around.

One of Kenzie's favorite ways to say hello is with affectionate leg rubs, and she loves spending time near her people. Whether she's curled up beside you on the couch or keeping you company around the house, she's happiest when she can be close to her family.

Kenzie gets along wonderfully with children and other cats. She can also live with dogs, though she would do best with a calm canine companion and slow, thoughtful introductions. She has excellent litter box habits and is an easy, well-mannered housemate.

While toys haven't caught her interest much yet, Kenzie is perfectly content watching the world go by from a sunny window perch. She's the kind of cat who doesn't need to be the center of attention, she simply wants a safe home, a cozy spot to relax, and people to love.
