DESCRIPTION
Hi! My name is Ellen and I am available for adoption. I was brought in by a good samaritan on May 31, 2026 with a few of my siblings. We were all quite undersocialized so we went into foster. We have made great strides while in foster so we are back at RASKC to look for our forever family. My foster says this about me, Ellen is more skittish still. She hisses when you go to pick her up but she will let you hold her no problem and give her treats with some coaxing. She still hides when we come into the room too and likes to watch from her safe space. But she has fallen asleep on our laps a couple times and purred as well but she still isn't interested in exploring and will go straight to hiding when we let her roam. I am a sweet kitten who may need extra time and attention to warm up to new situations and new people. When I was a wee little one, I was not taught how nice and friendly people can be, but I am learning quickly! Though I may be timid at first, once you take the time to show me I can trust you I will show you just how wonderful I can be. I am a gentle and loving kitten who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might need some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!
