Kiki is an  unusual kitty.  She wants to hide but when you bring her out, she rubs against your legs looking for pets.  She is sweet and independent.  It's her idea to come up to you to sit.  She was in a super busy household with lots of dogs and cats.  I think she would prefer a quiet house and start in a small room like a bathroom where she can meet and get comfortable with her new adopter.
