Don't be fooled by the name and his luxurious locks-Harper is 100% lover boy! This mid-aged feline came from a home with too many cats for his owner to care for. He took right to shelter life and acted like he'd never been apart from his old friends, being incredibly affectionate with people and cats alike. Harper seems to have a playful streak on top of his confident, curious personality, and is at least somewhat tolerant of being held!
Due to Harper's background, we don't know how he feels about living with dogs or kids, but he's well accustomed to sharing his space with other feline friends and had numerous roommates from his old home here with him in the shelter who he enjoys. Harper will likely need your assistance in maintaining his coat, especially in his later years, so those who do not want to brush and trim would be better suited to a short-haired companion. For those willing to put in some maintenance, Harper will pay his dues in head butts and leg rubs!
