Meet Tabitha 🤍 Tabitha is a beautiful long haired tabby girl, about 5 months old, with the softest fluffy hair and the sweetest little face. She came into foster care with her two sisters after starting life as a feral kitten, so the big human world is still a little scary for her. Since coming into my home, Tabitha has been very slowly but surely making progress. She watches everything closely, has started to relax in her safe space, and is learning that people can be kind and bring good things like food, treats, and gentle play. Every week she gains a little more confidence. Because of her rough start, Tabitha is still very shy and cautious, and she will need an adopter who understands that trust takes time. She isn’t the kind of kitten who will run up for cuddles right away but with patience, kindness, and a calm home, she has the potential to continue blossoming into a wonderful companion. Right now she enjoys churros and will eat them whilst being held, sometimes she loves to be held closely and pet gently while she eats her churro. Her ideal family will be someone who is willing to move at her pace, celebrate the small victories, and give her the time she needs to feel safe and loved. She does well with other cats but hasn’t been around dogs. Tabitha has been around toddlers but their fast movements and unpredictability does scare her right now.
