Domestic Long Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Wheaton, Illinois

Kipper is the sweetest boy. He loves watching the world go by outside a window or laying next to his person. Kip has a strong purr motor which goes off when you give him head scratches. He might sound like he's smoked two pack for his life when he meows but that just adds to his charm. He hasn't decided on a favorite toy but will play with mice and enjoys a kicker toy.

Kipper might not be excited to meet new kitties but with time he learns to tolerate them and could be a good co-exister.

Kipper says "I might look a little funny but I promise I'm the most handsome boy. My previous owner didn't take care of my hair as best as they should have so I needed to be shaved (that was interesting). My fur is growing back and my foster mommy showed me that getting brushed isn't so bad. I hope my new parents will brush me and keep me looking handsome."

Adoption Information

Prior to adoption, every cat in our care is spayed or neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for parasites, and combo-tested for FIV/FeLV. We make sure each cat is healthy, safe, and ready to thrive in their forever home.

Adoption Fees



Kittens (under 6 months): $150


Adults (over 6 months): $125


Seniors / Special Needs: $75

We cannot hold cats for any reason. Please only apply if you're ready to meet and welcome your new companion within 3 days of applying.


Kittens under 4 months must go to a home with another friendly feline, or be adopted with a buddy. (If a kitten is excluded from this rule, it will be noted in their profile.)
