Poor Mary was a colony cat but our spay/neuter vet said that because she's so old and doesn't have any teeth left, she wasn't allowed to go back to feral life. She used to spend her days playing in the streets and was in constant danger of getting hit, so we were happy to keep ahold of her. But it turns out that she's the friendliest old girl ever. She loves new people, getting pets, and napping on her heating pad. Truly she could live a long life in 'retirement' if she found the right owner to love and care for her!
She should probably be in a home with no other pets or kids unless the existing pets also keep to themselves. She's an ideal companion for a quiet person or couple that has the heart to give Mary the love and gentleness in retirement that she's never known before.
Please note: Mary is half deaf.
