Floyd - Domestic Long Hair Cat for Adoption in Long Beach, California

Floyd wants to be a HOUSE CAT! This stunning boy was originally tagged as being "feral" because he came from a large outdoor colony. The colony caretaker passed away from cancer, leaving 15-20 cats behind. Floyd was originally TNRd and set to go to a barn this fall, but in the last month he has made a complete 180. Turns out he was just shy and needed time to build some trust with a new human. His gorgeous, fluffy, black/brown mane, his bright, wide eyes, and his huge handsome jowls will steal your heart instantly. And while he is initially reserved and hesitant, give him a little Churu hand feeding and some slow cheek scratchies and you will win him over. He becomes a giant teddy bear who will melt into your hands wanting more pets. He is great around other cats- he hasn't ever hissed or made a peep at any newcomers in his temporary catio home. He coexists peacefully and minds his own business. He would do great with another kitty or 2 in the home but would also make a great solo prince! He just needs someone to be patient and show him what true love and safety looks like.
