Once given time to decompress in a calm, safe foster home, Stanley discovered that people can be gentle — and now he craves attention.

Stanley adores pets and face scratches and will happily lean in for more. He can still be a little wary about being picked up, but he continues to make progress every day. He won’t fight being handled — he’ll simply let you know when he’s had enough. With patience and consistency, his trust continues to grow.

He loves lounging and is very cat-friendly, so a home with other mellow felines would be a great fit. Stanley is already neutered and vaccinated and is steadily putting on healthy weight now that he’s feeling safe and settled.
