Otto | Fluffy, Gentle Soul Ready for His Second Chance | Transport Available Nationwide
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

I’m Otto—a soft, fluffy sweetheart with a gentle soul and so much love to give. I’m about 4 years old, and while I look like I belong curled up in a cozy home, my life didn’t start that way. I was living outside as a TNR kitty, but it didn’t take long for everyone to realize—I’m far too friendly for that life.

I absolutely love people. I lean into pets, stay close to my humans, and soak up every bit of attention I can get. When I lost the only place I knew, I could have shut down—but that’s just not who I am. I still trust, I still love, and I’m still hoping for a home where I can finally feel safe and cherished.

The truth is, I’ve been overlooked simply because I’m FIV positive—but please don’t let that scare you. It doesn’t define me, and it doesn’t change the kind of companion I’ll be. If you’re someone who takes good care of your kitties—feeding them quality food, keeping fresh water available, and giving them a safe indoor life—I can live a long, happy, completely normal life just like any other cat.

I’m already neutered, vaccinated, and litter box trained, so I’m ready to settle right into my forever home. I’m calm, affectionate, and would love nothing more than to be your steady, loving companion.

FIV Care Guide 🐾
FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is often misunderstood—and it does NOT define me.

What it means for me:

I can live a long, healthy, normal life
I just need to stay indoors and have routine vet care
I can safely live with friendly, non-aggressive cats

Myth vs. Fact:

Myth: FIV+ cats are always sick
Fact: Most live full, normal lives for many years
Myth: FIV spreads easily
Fact: It’s mainly transmitted through deep bite wounds—not sharing food, water, or grooming
Myth: FIV+ cats must live alone
Fact: They can live peacefully with other cats when properly introduced

All I really need is someone willing to look past a label and see me for who I am—a loving, loyal cat who just wants a chance.

Otto is fully vetted and ready to go. If you're interested in meeting Otto, click on the ‘Start your Inquiry’ button to fill out an Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our website and fill out an application at www.lonestarpawz.com
