Well hello there! My name is Jinxy and I appreciate you stopping by to admire my stunning looks and fluffy tail! And boy oh boy am I proud of my tail! It’s quite a show piece and I love holding it high and swishing it magically in front of my fellow foster cats faces (even though they may not agree)!

A little history about me.. my foster mom trapped me, my mom, and my two brothers when I was about 5 months old. We lived behind a hotel here in Columbia, SC and it was not a safe place to live our lives. Thankfully my foster mom took us all in, got us neutered and vaccinated and kept us safe and warm until we could find a furever home of our own. Since we spent the first few months of our life homeless, I developed some survival skills from my mom and it took time to acclimate to an indoor life.

I’m a playful, loving, but also a cautious boy that needs a little patience and understanding that it may take some time to get comfortable in a new environment. I’ve really grown and opened up while in my foster home and I know having focused attention from someone would help my confidence even more! I’m used to being around other cats and it wouldn’t hurt having a feline friend around to give me a boost of confidence. I have a big appetite so food is always a good way to find the key to my heart! I enjoy being petted and lounging alongside my foster mom when things have settled down for the day.

My ideal home would be calm and easy going where I can move about at my own pace. I know I’d make an amazing friend and companion that I can share my fluff and warmth with! Please reach out if you think we might be a match!
