Are you sitting down? Can you? Please? Irene wants to sit in your lap. Irene came to us in rough shape a few months ago but after some time recuperating in a foster home, she's ready to meet her family! She's the sweetest long-haired tortie who wants nothing more than attention from a human who enjoys watching TV, reading, or any hobby where she can sit with you.

Irene was found as a stray, so we don't have much information on her past life but she's looking forward to a brighter future with her new people! She did great with the chill cats in her foster home but she did not appreciate the more chaotic energy of the younger boy cat (honestly, same).

Irene does have some health concerns that an adoption counselor can talk through with potential adopters. She has been doing great for the last five months on a low dose steroid that she takes easily with a bite of food.
