Peetie is currently living with feline leukemia, a condition that's easily transmittable among cats. Because of this, he would need to be the only cat in the home or live with other FeLV-positive kitties. Although feline leukemia can result in a shorter life expectancy due to a weakened immune system, many cats, like Peetie, thrive and live long, happy lives!
