Meet Cecil

Cecil has been through more than most cats ever should, yet he remains one of the most loving and resilient souls you could ever meet. He was rescued from a gas station parking lot in the middle of winter, struggling to survive with multiple wounds, painful dental issues, severe matting, and a bad upper respiratory infection. Despite everything he endured, Cecil never lost his gentle spirit.

When Cecil first came into our care, his coat was so severely matted that he required a full haircut to make him comfortable and pain-free. Underneath all that neglect was a beautiful, very fluffy longhaired cat. His coat is now growing back in, and he’s already becoming the gorgeous, soft boy he was always meant to be.

With dedicated veterinary care, dental treatment, and plenty of love, Cecil has made an incredible recovery. Now, he’s ready for the life he always deserved.

Cecil is extraordinarily affectionate. He gives hugs, happily curls up in your lap, and follows you from room to room like a loyal little puppy. He thrives on companionship and truly bonds with his person. He also loves treats, toys, and cozy spots where he can relax close to you.

Cecil is FIV positive, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a long, happy, healthy life. FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is only spread through deep bite wounds, not through casual contact like sharing food bowls, grooming, or cuddling. Many FIV positive cats live normal lifespans with proper care, regular vet visits, and a safe indoor home. Cecil is otherwise healthy and ready to be someone’s devoted companion.

Cecil does well with gentle children who respect his sweet and calm nature. Because he bonds so closely with his people, he would do best as a solo cat where he can soak up all the love and attention.

After everything he’s overcome, Cecil is ready for his happy ending. He’s not just looking for a home — he’s looking for someone to love with his whole heart.
