Dilute Calico and Domestic Medium Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Vaughan, Ontario

**NOTE: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens**

***Hope and Harper are bonded sisters who must go home together. These young girls have so much potential and are just waiting for the right home to help them truly shine.

Hope and Harper were kittens born in a neighbourhood colony fortunate enough to have compassionate homeowners who not only fed them, but knew that in order to curb the population boom, they must be trapped, vetted, and rehabilitated before finding good homes.

With huge eyes and a dilute calico, medium length coat, Hope is a fluffy kitten living up to her name, with much promise to become a gorgeous cat and a beloved member of a household.

Hope is the braver and more adventurous of the two sisters. She’s curious, playful, and has come out of her shell quite quickly. She’ll happily come running for treats (especially for her favourite wet food!) and has even started accepting pets here and there. When she’s in play mode, she’s fearless — she might even jump right into your lap without a second thought! For Hope, food/treats and play are the ways to engage her and bridge the skittishness that diminishes every time she forgets to be nervous.

Both girls are very playful and can turn just about any toy into fun play — laser pointers, feather wands, you name it! They also love their treats (especially Catit tubes and Temptations) and have excellent litter box habits.

Hope and Harper would do best in a patient, understanding home that can give them the time, love, and encouragement they need to continue building confidence. They are still very young, and with a little patience, they have all the potential to grow into incredibly loving and affectionate companions.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.

All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it's twice the fun for you, and half the work!
