PUREBRED Cornish Res, 5-year-old, male neutered, black and white, with claws, green eyes, 7.5 pounds
Cat friendly: No
Dog friendly: Maybe, no more than one and must ignore him.
Kid friendly: 13yrs +. He can be demanding and nippy. Not appropriate for younger kids or toddlers.

GETTING TO KNOW ME

Milkshake is Mr. Sensitive. All he wants is peace and quiet, a warm window, healthy food and a human body to velcro himself upon. He wants his own person, a feel for safety and routine, and the volume is turned low.
In true corny fashion, he is playful, can get the zoomies out of nowhere and does love to play. But expect that he will follow you everywhere. When he cannot get to you, a plaintiff tiny meow will call out like an alarm until you are reunited again.

You must be willing to accept kisses on repeat. Your face, your hands, your legs, your eyes, your hair will be a recipient of his rough tongue, your own personal loofah. And sometimes, those kisses will end with a nibble--be forewarned. He is not mean or trying to hurt you. Milkshake can just be a bit obsessive. He will expect to sleep with you curled up tightly into you, sometimes beneath the covers but always touching you.

He is not fond of other cats. He has been bullied in the past and will hunker down away from them or lash back out if pushed. Milkshake would be able to co-exist with others if they ignore and do not want to engage with him. But he will be very unhappy if he is not the one and only reserved just for you. The best thing for him would be as a singleton in a home. Likely with slow and proper introductions a calm, laid back dog would be okay. Kids under 13yrs are not a fit for him. Expect him to take some time to decompress and trust. With time and a consistently calm environment he is a sweetie pie and a keeper.

Wouldn’t it be a delight to have a constant, loving and loyal companion? Every day you can rub your face against those soft curls, be warmed by the heat of his body and massaged by the purrs. You know if you are his person. You know if you are a good fit. He is not for everyone. Neither are you.

He enjoys his meals of Honest Kitchen reconstituted wet food, sometimes topped with “croutons” of Solid Gold kibble. He is schedule fed twice a day and is great at cleaning his plate.

Open feeding allows him to potentially overeat and then also possibly vomit. He always uses his litterboxes which are large, open and filled with unscented clumping litter.


VETTING PROVIDED

Exam, neutered, tested negative for FELV/FIV, received rabies and FVRCP vaccines, had a dental with extractions and is microchipped. Records are provided upon completion of the adoption.

LOCATION AND ADOPTION

Fostered in OSHKOSH, Wisconsin
Milkshake’s adoption fee is $400.

PurrHarmony, Inc. does not transport or ship cats. We welcome long-distance adopters. Within 2 weeks of acceptance to adopt, adopters must travel to the foster home or an airport nearest the foster home (at the discretion of the foster parent.)
