DESCRIPTION

ADOPTION FEE WAIVED WITH APPROVED APPLICATION

We’re not entirely sure of the truth behind Lily and Marigold’s story. We were initially told they were left behind outside when someone moved. However, once they came into rescue, it became very clear that these girls have had minimal — if any — positive interaction with people.

In reality, they are very feral / undersocialized.

And that’s okay.

These beautiful girls are about a year old. They’ve tested negative for FIV and FeLV and will be spayed on Monday. They are safe now — and that’s what matters most.

Lily is slightly more outgoing than Marigold, but both are extremely timid and unsure around people. They aren’t mean. They aren’t aggressive. They are simply scared and unfamiliar with human kindness.

They are what we lovingly call spirit cats.

We will be looking for a very seasoned, patient cat owner who understands that trust is earned — not expected. A quiet home. No pressure. No forcing affection. Just safety, consistency, and love on their terms.

These girls deserve to live safely indoors, protected, and allowed to blossom in their own time.

If you are someone who understands that the most meaningful bonds are sometimes the slowest to form, we’d love to have you apply!

They need to be in an adult home only.
They are more independent so it’s not critical for someone to be home more.
A quiet less busy home.
No dogs.
Other cats are fine.
