Gingham was found at a local cat colony covered in fleas and scared of the big outside world.
She has beautiful calico markings, big eyes, and an even bigger heart. She loves people, getting pets, cuddles, and is happy to chat with you in her sweet meows about what she wants. Gingham loves to play with toys and can create her own fun for her and the whole family.
Gingham is fast to warm up to new people but slower to warm up to new animal friends. Her current home has a dog and cat she's learning to trust. She would do well with a slow introduction and lots of love.
ABOUT: CALICO CAT BREED
The Calico cat is known for its unique tri color coat pattern of white, orange, and black. These cats are almost always female due to their genetics, with their striking coats often displaying a patchwork appearance. Calicos are not a specific breed but rather a color pattern found in various breeds, including American Shorthair and Persian. They are typically lively, affectionate, and confident felines, making them popular and charming companions in many households.
