Marigold - Calico Cat for Adoption in Burnaby, British Columbia

Marigold
Est DOB:
Sex: Female

Meet Marigold, a beautiful little calico with a coat full of gorgeous colors and
markings that make her truly one of a kind. Her striking calico pattern is beautiful from every angle, but her most adorable feature might just be the tiny black spot on her chin—a little beauty mark that gives her an extra dose of charm.

Marigold is the kind of kitten who catches your eye right away and then steals your heart. She started off a little shier than some of her siblings, but has gained confidence and now loves cuddling up next to her person on the couch. She loves finding new places to explore and will follow you around the house hoping you might open a new closet or cupboard she can check out. This lovely girl is ready to find a family who will appreciate all the special little details that make Marigold, well... Marigold!

Since coming into foster care, Marigold has not been tested with other animals. She would be good with young respectful children.

The Calico cat is known for its unique tri color coat pattern of white, orange, and black. These cats are almost always female due to their genetics, with their striking coats often displaying a patchwork appearance. Calicos are not a specific breed but rather a color pattern found in various breeds, including American Shorthair and Persian. They are typically lively, affectionate, and confident felines, making them popular and charming companions in many households.
