Bombay and Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

Bombay mix Valentine is an affectionate little kitten, about six and a half months old, whose sweetness lives up to her name. Valentine was rescued after she had been cruelly abandoned to fend for herself in harsh, single-digit temperature. Once he realized she was in a safe place, she showed herself to be an affectionate girl who appreciated being rescued from such frigid, life-endangering conditions. Valentine is a friendly, engaging companion who clearly values the security and care she’s found, and she’s ready to bring warmth and connection to a home that will keep her safe and loved going forward. Her foster mom said she adjusted quickly to her new environment and soon began exploring with. confident curiosity. She peacefully coexists with the other cat in her foster home; we haven’t seen her around dogs or children yet, but we believe she’d likely do well with respectful kids and dogs who know how to interact gently with cats. Kittens almost always do best if they are in homes with at least one other four-legged pal, and Valentine is no exception. Valentine would do best in an interactive home where she isn’t left alone for long hours.  Whoever is fortunate enough to adopt this little lady will gain a devoted companion for life.

Valentine has been spayed, is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, and treated for worms and fleas. Her adopter will receive her medical records. She’s being fostered in Wellesley. Adoptions are facilitated by video meet-and-greets, as well as in-person visits.  There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee of $285, which helps us continue rescuing cats in need.
