Meet Archie!

Archie's journey to becoming a house cat started with a little surprise. He was trapped with plans to be released, but purred so loudly in his trap that we decided he deserved a chance to see what indoor life was all about. And what a good decision that turned out to be!

Archie has blossomed into a sweet boy with a big purr and an even bigger love of snuggling. He's just discovered the joys of laps and will even leave his breakfast to hop into yours for a quick pet before returning to finish his meal.

He's also a playful, curious, funny boy who loves being part of the action. Wand toys, mice, and especially playtime with his sister, Betty, are some of his favorite things.

Because Archie spent time on the streets, he can still be a little skittish around new people and unfamiliar situations. He'll need a patient adopter who will give him time to get his bearings and build confidence at his own pace. Once he feels comfortable, though, Archie is very people-focused and has all the makings of a wonderful companion.
