American Shorthair Cats Available for Adoption

TEDDY

American Shorthair
🇺🇸
South Elgin, Illinois
February 25th
male, extra large, adult

DESCRIPTION

Teddy is a 6-year-old tabby with a heart full of potential, though he may take a little time to show it. This sweet boy is a bit nervous and shy at first, but with patience and love, he'll gradually come out of his shell and show his true, affectionate side. Teddy enjoys quiet spaces where he can feel safe, and with a little gentle encouragement, he'll start to trust you more every day.

He may prefer a calm, low-stress environment and would do best in a home where he can take his time adjusting. Once he feels comfortable, Teddy enjoys curling up in cozy spots and watching the world go by. He's not a fan of loud noises or sudden movements, so a peaceful, patient family would be the perfect match for him.

Teddy is fully litter trained, neutered, and up-to-date on all her shots. He might need some extra time to settle in, but if you're looking for a loving companion who will bond with you in his own time, Teddy could be the perfect fit for you!

Could you be the patient, understanding person he's been waiting for?

Stop in and meet my cute self in person during our adoption hours. For more information, email info@ahconnects.org or call us at 847-697-2880 x: 0, and the staff will be happy to help you.

I hope to meet you soon!

Our cats and kittens go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
