American Shorthair Cats Available for Adoption

Our rescue is based out of Pikesville, Maryland!

We typically do not adopt more than 45 minutes away from Pikesville, so please bear that in mind! Also, if you are viewing this cat on Petfinder, note that ALL of our animals are spayed/neutered despite what it says.

Gemma is a super sweet little girl who came in to animal control as a stray with a nasty wound on her neck. The wound looks to be allergic in nature and is healing, but needs an eye kept on it.

This super sweetie loves people, being held and pet, and is gentle and quiet. She has adorable little socks, and at only about seven months old, she is petite and still very much a kitten.

Will you give this little gem a forever home, or at least a comfortable place to recuperate until she finds one?

Needs Must Cats will have received full vetting including spay or neuter, FIV/FLV testing, microchip, and treatment for parasites by time of adoption. The adoption fee in the amount below helps us assist more cats and kittens in urgent need.
