Mitch and Sweet Howl and their 2 siblings came to our rescue after we were contacted by the homeowner, who was taking care about their feral mom. Their two sisters were getting sick and their caretaker was concerned about them living outside. This was not the only reason unfortunately for the little Mitch aka Catbus. Her mean neighbors didn’t like the fact she was taking care about the family and they tried to use every chance to hurt the boys, who sometimes roamed around their yard. Luckily we had an amazing foster family, who agreed to open the doors for the little family. The homeowner grabbed the girls asap because their eye infection was progressing and one of our volunteers went to the location to trap the boys and their mother to have her spayed and vaccinated. This was when she heard a heartbreaking scream from the neighbors yard. She saw the lady holding Mitch by the neck basically choking to death and it took her less than a second to jump over the fence and pull the kitten from the lady’s hands, picked up Sweet Howl and trapped the mother and we promised the boys no one ever would hurt them again. While Sweet Howl is sweet as a pie and very gentle, Mitch is still going through the mental trauma he received. We are looking for the quiet patient home with the family who would help Mitch to recover, who would help him to fight this fair and would not expect him to become a lap cat. Two brothers adore each other and love to play and run around with their toys, chasing each other. While Howl loves to be petted and cuddled, Mitch is still on a shy side and looks like he is more comfortable with his foster dad than with his foster mom. If you think the brothers are the perfect fit for your family, please complete the adoption application by using the link provided above and their foster family will contact you to arrange meet and greet. We can transport the boys anywhere in NYC/NJ/Long Island areas.
