Quaker Parakeet Birds Available for Adoption

MOCHIE

Quaker Parakeet
🇺🇸
Blairstown, New Jersey
February 26th
female, small, young

DESCRIPTION

💚 Meet Mochi 💚

Mochi is a very young Quaker with the sweetest baby face. She was found as a fledgling in NJ (likely from a local wild flock) and is now being fostered in Maryland while she continues building confidence.

She has some fear-related behaviors and would do best with other Quakers or birds her size. She previously lived peacefully with a Sun Conure and Green Cheek Conure.

✨ Fully flighted (never clipped)
✨ Needs a larger cage — small cages increase fear behaviors
✨ Gentle and does not bite
✨ Enjoys hanging near you more than hands-on interaction
✨ Light toy shredder

Grounding her would require a severe clip and would likely worsen her fear behaviors, so she must remain flighted.

Mochi will require multiple visits to ensure the right fit and comes with lifetime free training support from Fluff and Feathers Training.
