Gingham is still recovering emotionally from the trauma of losing his foot. When you’ve been through such a painful, life-changing ordeal, emotional healing takes time. But despite everything he’s endured, Gingham has remained as gentle as the soft fabric after which he was named! This dear boy is a very polite fellow around both people and other pigeons. He’s respectful, kind, and well-behaved with everyone he meets.
Gingham has also discovered some adorable hobbies in his foster home! His current favorite activity is standing atop his foster mom’s books in her office, while looking very cute, of course! He’s clearly a cultured, literary pigeon with excellent taste in perching spots!
And Gingham loves his bedtime routine: every evening, he coos happily when he gets to go into his enclosure and sit on his soft cushion for the night.’After everything he’s been through, Gingham truly appreciates comfort and safety. His happy coos when it’s time for his soft cushion show just how much simple comforts mean to a bird who once suffered so terribly.
