Ginger is very much the cottagecore half of this duo. He looks like a tiny gingerbread cookie dipped in chocolate! Warm-toned, a little ridiculous in the best way, and fully aware that he’s adorable. He had a head injury when he was found but has made a full recovery, and now spends his time doing important things like wandering, supervising, and looking decorative without trying.
Fiddle is not that.
Fiddle is a Gothic queen, through and through. She came in with serious injuries: a fractured leg, torn skin, and missing feathers, the kind of situation that clearly involved a bad run-in with the outside world. She’s healed a lot, but she carries it with her. She moves carefully, takes her time, and has a very calm, very self-possessed presence.
They balance each other out in a way that just works. Ginger brings the cozy, soft energy. Fiddle brings the quiet, slightly intimidating grace. He’s fluffing around like he lives in a storybook kitchen, and she’s watching everything because she actually runs the place.
Because of Fiddle’s past injuries, they’ll need a home with flat, easy-to-navigate surfaces. Nothing too tricky underfoot. She does best when things are simple and steady, and Ginger will happily adjust as long as he can keep doing his thing nearby.
If you want a pair that’s equal parts sweet and serious, Ginger & Fiddle are exactly that! One cozy, one commanding, and somehow perfectly matched!
