Pigeon Birds Available for Adoption

Introducing Fondue, a distinguished senior gentleman! Fondue was found with a severely fractured leg that sadly had to be amputated in order to save his life. The decision to amputate is never easy, but it was necessary to give Fondue a chance at a pain-free future, and this brave senior has adapted beautifully to life on one leg!
Fondue’s remaining leg is a bit arthritic because of his senior status, which is completely understandable for a gentleman of his age who’s also compensating for his missing leg. As a result, he prefers to spend most of his time relaxing on cushions. After everything he’s been through, he’s more than earned the right to a luxurious, cushion-filled retirement! But Fondue certainly can hop wherever he wants to go, especially when snacks are awaiting him at his destination! This food-motivated senior has priorities, and treats are definitely high on the list! Because he spends most of his time sitting Fondue doesn’t really grow a tail anymore, which our volunteers think makes him look like a little black and white bumblebee! He’s round, he’s fuzzy, and he’s absolutely bee-utiful!
Fondue’s favorite place to sit is a miniature sofa, which might be the cutest thing ever. This sophisticated senior gentleman has claimed a tiny couch as his throne, and he looks absolutely perfect perched there like the distinguished elder statesman he is.
From atop his mini-sofa, Fondue awaits a forever home that will appreciate his senior status, accommodate his one-legged mobility and arthritic remaining leg with plenty of soft cushions and surfaces, and ideally provide miniature furniture for his sitting pleasure! He is hoping for a human friend who understands that senior birds deserve comfort and pampering, who won’t expect him to be highly active, and who will keep strategically placed snacks to motivate his occasional hops! This sweet senior is ready to buzz his way into his forever home one hop at a time, especially if there are treats involved!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
