Brigsdyn fell out of his nest as a baby, too young to eat on his own, and landed hard on concrete. His finder drove over an hour to get him to rescue! He was tiny, and needed extensive care to survive and heal. He healed, and he survived! He did not stay small.
This handsome bird has an emerald and purple crop that shifts color depending on the light, the kind of iridescence that makes you do a double-take. His one sighted eye catches everything, and he has a way of moving through a space like he’s already decided it belongs to him. He is a quiet bird, but he has a big presence.
He doesn’t make a lot of noise about it. He doesn’t need to! Brigsdyn has the specific confidence of someone who fell off a ledge in infancy, got driven an hour to safety by a stranger, survived, and grew up gorgeous. He knows what he’s working with.
He’s looking for a home that will appreciate a calm, striking bird with a great origin story and excellent feathers. The concrete didn’t stop him. Neither will much else!
