This Society Finch came to J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue on 1/24/26 after someone bought an aviary and did not want the birds that came with it. Now this little bird is looking for a new home where they will be welcomed and cared for.

Society Finches are friendly, social birds that are known for their soft chirps and active behavior. They do best when kept with other finches and given plenty of space to fly. Watching them interact with each other is half the fun!

• Adult size: about 4 inches
• Lifespan: 5–10 years
• Best kept with other finches
• Large cage or aviary with room to fly
• Diet: Finch seed mix, pellets, and fresh greens
• Provide perches and nesting spots
