Meet Tiki, a young pineapple green-cheeked conure sure to add spice to your life! Tiki is a sweet little cutie pie who, like many GCCs, can be excitable and a bit nippy when you first go to let her out of her cage-- but it's just the excitement, really!
Offering a finger may not be the best idea right out of the cage, as she's not fully hand-tame, but an arm or sleeve will see Tiki stepping out and turning into a little love bug, enjoying sitting on your shoulder for a snuggle. Just note that the excitement can resurface at any moment and she may nip suddenly, but big feelings are okay!
Being an excitable little conure, Tiki prefers a gentle tone of voice and would do best in a calm environment respectful of her zen preferences. This preference extends into her human companions as well-- cool, chill, calm folks, please apply!
This little cutie makes the sweetest squeaky sounds, but overall has been relatively quiet in her foster home, though she will be more vocal if she hears other birds nearby. Some of her favorite activities include rooting through a foraging box for goodies or things to chew, shredding a sola ball or paper like a maniac, or sitting on top of her cage and watching you go about your day.
Tiki is a wonderful flyer, but doesn't zoom around for nothing, instead taking flight if something spooks her. When it's naptime, Tiki loves to snuggle up to a preener, but look out at actual bedtime when everyone goes to bed-- Tiki wants to stay up with you all night!
