George is a wonderful 15-year-old African Grey who prefers the company of a man. He is a good talker, although he’s picked up a few bad words from a sailor.
George is also a bit of a food junkie. He loves human food, such as an occasional egg, a cube of meat, oatmeal, Cream of Wheat, and most veggies. He’s very trustworthy and will stay on top of his cage snacking on goodies while watching his TV shows.
George really loves TV—especially game shows and sitcoms. We’re truly hoping to find someone who can give him the attention and love he deserves.
George’s previous owner experienced a life-changing event, and he is no longer able to give George the attention he was accustomed to. As a result, George began plucking a few of the feathers on his chest. we're happy to share that he has started growing his feathers back.
We’ve upgraded George’s cage to a brand-new white A&E Cage (model 8002422), so his adoption fee includes the new cage as well as our large care package.
If you are ready to adopt George within the next 72 hours, please fill out your adoption application as soon as possible and check your email regularly. We will email you to schedule a phone interview.
To help us manage the adoption process smoothly, we kindly ask that you wait to reach out until after completing the adoption application. Please refrain from emailing or calling us before submitting your application.
The first step in the process is to complete our adoption application—it’s quick and simple!
If you believe you’re the right match for George, please complete our adoption application. Once we receive it, we will reach out to you via email to schedule a phone interview and arrange a time for a meet-and-greet.
It is crucial that you keep an eye on your email and reply promptly when we contact you. Please refrain from calling us in advance or immediately after submitting your application—we promise to get back to you as soon as we can.
We work on a tight timeline, and staying organized helps ensure every parrot finds the perfect forever home. Again, it’s very important that you check your email regularly and respond in a timely manner. If a potential adopter isn’t ready, it could result in a parrot losing their forever home to someone who is.
